Welcome to The FIRE Letter website and newsletter! My name is Mike Bishop and I'll be writing most of the articles on this site as well as most newsletter issues that are sent to subscribers.

As the name, The FIRE Letter, implies, my website and newsletter are all about achieving financial independence & retiring early, hence the FIRE acronym.

FIRE will certainly be the focus, however, I expect to venture into personal finance issues as such as personal financial management, budgeting, money saving tips, banking, etc. While not directly related to FIRE, personal finance issues play into one's ability to invest and build wealth in order to achieve financial independence.

I'll be posting articles and sending out newsletters over the coming weeks and I will settle into a regular posting schedule as we go along.
